Team Singapore Blizzards currently consists of about 50 members (men & women) with around 25 - 30 players showing up constantly for Friday night training every week. With many different skill levels of players, training sessions are usually conducted as two separate groups with the newer players practicing on the basics of Ice Hockey like skating, passing, etc, while the senior players either help out with the training of the newer players or practise more advanced skills. The club committee usually conducts training sessions, as most are trained coaches with the IIHF or other international Ice Hockey bodies. Selections for tournaments are conducted regularly before each tournament to allow every member to get a chance to be in the 22 person maximum squad that the club sends for each tournament. Some of the Blizzards players are currently in the Singapore Inline Hockey National team.
